Hi, I am Byeongmoon Lee. I am currently working at the Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST) as a Post-Doc researcher. I received my Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at Seoul National University (SNU) under the supervision of Prof. Yongtaek Hong. In August 2020, I joined Dr. Seungjun Chung's group at Soft Hybrid Materials Research Center, KIST. I have been currently conducting the Sejong Science Fellowship program as a principal investigator funded by the Ministry of Science and ICT (Korea) from August 2021.

My research mainly focuses on ways to assemble materials into soft electronic devices and systems in customizable and scalable manners. Based on additive manufacturing and bottom-up approaches, I developed a variety of soft electronic devices with unprecedented form factors that affect the ways of signal/energy transfer. They include skin displays, wirelessly activated soft robots, ultraflexible pressure-imaging skin, and skin-conformable thermoelectrics.​
