Welcome to AXEL

Our research aim is to develop Stretchable Hybrid Electronics (SHE) applicable for such as stretchable display, biomedical diagnosis, and artificial skin. We believe SHE is the promising next-generation technologies to overcome the limitations of conventional rigid electronics.

To achieve this mission, we apply various strategies based on novel materials and structural designs. Furthermore, we discuss the challenges and prospects for future directions in exploring the state-of-the-art SHE technology.

Advanced fleXible Electronics Laboratory (AXEL), led by Professor Yongtaek Hong, belongs to the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Seoul National University. With a clear vision, we are continuing our vigorous research in various fields with energetic researchers.
